Well, of course, it's not possible for him to hate every team in the league. So, why does everyone seem convinced he hates their team? It all comes down to the regional nature of baseball.
Over the course of its history, baseball has remained a regional game. It's a blessing and a curse as it keeps them from catching back up with football, but also helps them maintain popularity in geographical pockets throughout the country. But with so many games in baseball, each team needs their own TV crew. In football, that isn't the case. Teams are lucky to get more than a handful of nationally-televised games a year in baseball. What does this do to fans? It gives them homer announcer crews.
These crews fall on different parts of the spectrum in their "homerness", but they all are essentially part of a public-relations arm of the club they cover.
